I have a few playlists in iTunes with some songs that I rarely ever listen to. I want to export them, or offload them to either an external drive (preferable) or to some optical media in order to free up some space in iTunes.
Is there an easy or straight forward way to do this? The export option doesn't seem to do the trick.

Well ... that will export EVERYTHING. I just want to export certain songs (such as a single playlist of infrequently played songs). Then ... I can delete those songs from my disk to save space.

How about selecting and dragging your songs/playlist onto a blank CD/DVD in the Finder and then burning from there?
