I'm probably going to buy a 32GB iPod touch pretty soon. I'm fine with Apple's headphones, but I was wondering about cable-free solutions. Are there any decent cable-free headphones compatible with the touch? I'm especially interested in solutions that would only require a tiny dongle attached to the touch's headphone jack.

The Logitech ones aren't highly rated by users. I personally don't see much of a point to wireless headphones for iPods.

Well IMHO cables suck. They get caught, they dangle in your way, etc. If there were a decent cable-free solution, I'd buy it.

I just had to replace an old pair of Shure headphones, and after some research I bought the new Shure SE110's. One of the best things about them (outside of almost crystal clear sound) is that they are made with an extra thick layer of soft rubber that prevents them from getting tangled. Excellent value at $99.99.

seems to me that "cable-free" headphones still involve cables at some point, and end up with you carrying around another thing.
Now, if someone could get around to making something like this where the base plugs into the ipod dock, I'd be all over it.

Yeah, cables are not an option. It should be a tiny dongle that snaps onto your iPod and connects through the dock connector.
