I recently replaced the hard drive for my iPod video, but now when i try to listen to music, the sound does not come through. I ran it through a diagnosis test, and it says "Please unplug HP" when i run it on the headphone part even when the head phones aren't inserted. Could there be something stuck inside the jack? The hold button works fine. Obviously my 1 year warrenty is up. If theres something stuck in the jack, how do i open it and clean it out?

Thanks in advance.

I also have this message on my 5G iPod.

I had to replace the headphone assembly when two screwed in pieces broke off. My problem was that the sound wasn't working. So when I replaced the assembly, I still have this problem. This is the error I got doing the test. It's hung up on "Please unplug HP" and Menu to Exit doesn't work.
