Quick question-- I just got my iphone and have started using the included dock. I'm a little annoyed that I can't remove the phone from the dock without pulling the dock off the phone with my other hand. Shouldn't I be able to pick up the phone without the dock coming along for the ride?

Does everyone's iphone dock work that way? Do I have to stick my dock to the desk?

Just stick the back end of your hand, usually your little finger, on the dock when you pick it up. One handed and the dock stays in place.
