I have serious syncproblems with my Iphone when it comes to Itunes. I´ve bought an Iphone (1.1.3 version) and Itunes has
discovered my phone 3-4 times and the rest of the time it´s not there. I´ve tried with different inputs on my computer, different
computer, different cables etc.. I also tried to reinstall Itunes but with no success..All these times there´s nothing coming up
in tools under USB in my Imac.
Is someone has any idea what to do??
Is it worth to try 1.1.4?
Please help me!!

What kind of iMac do you have?

Older iMacs that have USB1.1 ports (rather than USB2.0 ports) have trouble forcing iTunes to "see" a connected iPhone. I have a G4 iMac and, about half the time, I get an error when I connect the iPhone. It appears to be a problem related to the G4 iMac's USB1.1 ports. It seems to work better if iTunes in open before placing the iPhone in the dock. Turning off "Automatically Sync when this iPhone is Connected" also helps.

I´ve Intelcore 2 duo Imac so I don´t think it is usb 1.1..
I´ve also tried that things you asked med to do..
Is it worth to try to install 1.1.4?
My list of things is now begin to give out..
Any more tips?
Is it better to sell this phone and buy another one?

Put the iPhone in DFU mode until iTunes recognizes it.

DFU:

Connect the iPhone and open iTunes. Press and hold the home and sleep button for 10-15 seconds until it goes into restore mode.

Have you tried reinstalling iTunes? That solved the problem when iTunes did not react my iPod (because I copied over an existing copy of iTunes to a new install and apparently broke iPod support in the process).

Yes, he said in his original posting that he re-installed iTunes.

The other thing to try is to re-set your sync history. You have to do that through iSync not iTunes.

I have one post in preferences for Iphone in Itunes.
Do you mean that thing??
I had also try to press and hold home and sleep button for 10-15 sec. and then it appears a picture when it says a cable and the Itunes loggo.
But I can´t still get any contact with Itunes?

make sure the iPhone is connected to your macbook and make sure iTunes is on then press and hold the home and sleep button until you see the cable and iTunes logo.....iTunes will then detect your iPhone
