Hi there

After attempting to restore my ipod 3rd gen, and an error appeared (dont remember #) immediately afterwards shutoff and it will not start up again. Only the Apple logo appears until the battery dies. I have drained the battery and still nothing.

The hard drive continues to run, with no clicking sound, just a regular ipod hdd sound

Any ideas how to solve this issue?

could the hard drive be corrupted?

Make sure it is plugged into the computer and try to restore again. Hopefully, it will transfer your music and work.

the thing is that my computer will not detect it just the apple logo appears nothing else.
tried killing the power and still nothing
