does anybody know why some of my album covers appear in Cover Flow AFTER the initial alphabetical list? i'm such a dork about this sort of thing, but it's driving me nuts!
the same albums don't appear under the "Artists" tab either, but will show up on the iPod Library on iTunes... i don't get it.

They probably have the "compilation" tag set? If they're "Greatest Hits" compilations from a single artist, turn off the "compilation" tag for that album.

I often see "Best of" albums tagged as "compilations". THAT IS NOT WHAT THE TAG IS FOR! A "compilation" in the sense the tag is intended is an album performed by a variety of different artists, but to be treated as a single album, rather than sorted between all the artists.
