Hi All,

On my 1st generation iPhone (here in the UK), I got three different connectivity icons (to the right of my carrier's ID, top of the screen): wifi, a blue rectangle with an "e" inside (EDGE) and a blue rectangle (GPRS).

My 3G has, of course, a "3G" icon, wifi, and a new one: a blue rectangle with a black dot inside. Can anyone point me to an explanation? (unfortunately, a search on "iphone 3G icon" hasn't found the answer).

Perhaps the blue dot one means GPRS in 2.0.

yeah, that's what I thought, but I was hoping for some definite confirmation (why change the icon??)
