Hi there.
I've been using a 3G iPod (40Gig), bought back in 2003 or 2004 (don't really remember). Anyways, i've been using it daily since then. It never let me down. even after all these years the battery 'still' lasts for 2 hours...
this morning at work i connect it to my MacPro 2x2.66Ghz/ 10.5.3, just like every morning. I've been using Leopard on this machine for 2 months and find it very unstable. programs hang all the time and a force quit just freezes the program, so i need to restart this machine 2 to 3 times per day (VERY annoying). So this morning it hung again. Restart, iTunes starts up and gives me the message that the iPod cannot be read. I disconnect my iPod and it seems all of the songs are gone. it's empty. When i plug it in, it does say 600mb available... the rest of the 40GB was taken up by music. So, the music is probably still there, just it doesnt see it....
Tried to reboot the iPod. didnt work...
Anyone who can help me out?
Thanks!
