Which app is doing the screenshots? I'd like that, please And then I'll post them here.

I'm on MacNN forums, but no longer have a Mac...

I hate to encourage what I feel is a lame thread but here goes:
Hold down the Home button and press the sleep button once. Then look in your Camera app.

Looks like it was jailbroken at one time.
Personally, I can't see any order to those screenies. I also like having a few free slots at the bottom of each screen to make moving items over easier.

Beejive is not an app, it's just a web site to visit:
http://iphone.beejive.com
You can then save the URL as an icon so it kind-of looks like an application.

I agree. I wonder if the availability of many more apps means that the icon-only home screen(s) model is starting to break down. I have three pages of icons now, and re-arranging them is cumbersome. I'd prefer a list view option, I think and an easier way of re-arranging them perhaps.

What a mess. That would drive me crazy to have apps throw around on screens with no order to them.

List view option would be very good and I agree that once I fill up 3 screens it will be a pain to look for certain apps. Also, I noticed that if you update over the air...the icons automatically get moved to the end which is very annoying if you set up your icons in the order you want then that happens.
My iPhone was never jailbroken.

Just organize them a little according to function. I put all commonly used apps on the main page, less used apps on the second page, and games on the third page. On each page, apps are organized by what they do (e.g., music, video, search, etc.).

Home screen. Stuff I use daily/the most.

Other apps I use on a regular basis.
Stuff I read.

Games, goofy stuff
Other things I use, but infrequently.
Hardbound items I've replaced functionality of.
I'm still trying to manage things better. I have another few apps I have turned off. There are a lot of screens but I can find what I want easily and quickly.

OK, rearranged my apps to better organize them. Will post up new screenshots later. Is there any way to change the Mail icon to the better stamp style icon used in OSX instead of the ugly envelope one of the iPhone or do you have to jailbreak to do that?
