Is there a way to retrieve old data (pictures, bookmarkets) from 1.1.4 after a 2.0.1 upgrade?

Here is the setup.

1. I created a new OS X account to update iPhone
2. Backed up Address book, Music but not photos nor bookmarks to the new OS X account.

We didn't notice that iTunes didn't backup the photos. Also specified it to sync bookmarks but it didnt happen.

Any help on the matter is most welcome

I had a similar problem. I DID have a backup; it just didn't work for some reason and iTunes wouldn't restore from it. I was able to rescue my photos manually by going to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ and dropping ALL the files on graphic converter. The ones that were photos opened, everything else did not.

No advice for the bookmarks
