Any instructions appreciated.

Actually its not reverse syncing its just a sync to MobileMe.
I would just sync your iphone to your mac replacing your address book contacts with your iPhone contacts.
in System Preferences choose MobileMe (or .Mac if you did do an upgrade on your computer)
Click on the 'Sync' Tab
Tick the 'Contacts' box
Click on the 'Advanced' button (bottom right)
Highlight your computer XXXXXX (This Computer)
Click 'Reset Synch Data' and choose the animated arrow FROM computer TO MobileMe (the cloud). NOTE**Make sure your Phone is set up to 'Push' contacts. if not then nothing will happen.
If your phone and Mobile me are correct than you will have identical contacts on your computer and phone. The first sync could take a few min to 30 min to show up on your phone.
to be safe, after you import your contacts from your phone...make a backup of your address book. Just in case.
I would wait for other replies in case i missed a step or someone has an easier way to do it.
