I plan on using an iphone for tethering and estimate to need about 3GB worth of data a month

Would this be classed as fair usage?

To be honest I am also thinking about gettinga vodfone USB dongle with this allowance but the iphone would be way cooler.

Ideas?

I'm guessing that O2 will triangulate your 3G signal, and kneecap you, while you sip your chai mocha latte.

Or failing that they'll accuse you of breaking some sort of TOS rule - I gather it is probably not that hard to work out if you are using the iPhone tethered.
I have Mac
