Ipod Touch Error?!

	I put about 400 songs on my 2g ipod touch, about 4 gbs all together a(this past Friday), worked fine got every thing on there worked. Last night I pluged my Ipod and all my music/podcast where gone, but not really my Ipod list them as "Other" so I have 0 gbs of music 0 gbs Video/podcast 500 mbs of apps 200 mbs of photos and 4 1/2 gbs of other that I cannot not find on my Ipod. So why is my ipod listing my MP3 and podcast as Other? At what can I do to fix this instead of going back to factory defaults?
