OK folks, quick question...
A few weeks ago I decided to make the move to auto-sync instead of manually managing my music on the iPod Touch. So far everything is pleasant enough, but there is one question I have that has inconvenienced me a few times, and I would like some theories.
There are times when I plug in the Touch, and it proceeds to update about 125 files or so. Now, I know for a fact that I did not add 125 files to the play lists my iPod syncs from. I also know that I haven't played all those files in my library. So why is it syncing/updating so many files at once?
My working theory is that it has something to do with Genius; songs get replaced and added. Problem is, I have about 4-5 Genius playlists. Assuming a few songs change, that is well short of the 125 that get updated. Can anybody think of a reason why this is syncing/updating so many songs? Much appreciated...
