It's not just the iPhones. We live in a society that is quick to adopt convenience but are slow to think about the security and other issues that come with these conveniences. Look at all the laptops stolen with company's passwords and personal information. The sad thing is that some of the solutions are easy to do but many people aren't thinking that they will be the victim of these problems.

For example, using a password to login into their laptops is just a quick and easy step to add extra security. Of course it won't fully protect you but I'm still surprised at how many people who don't use passwords to login into their laptops when they have their computers away from home.

That is all well and good, but the fact that Apple doesn't permit me to use what should be a basic and default security feature like encryption of the data on my iPhone is utterly unforgivable. Two versions of the OS, and several updates... still waiting.
