Hi
my colleague bought me a 160gig iPod last week in HongKong. I couldn't find it here anymore in Shanghai and as we all know HK is a LOT cheaper for consumer electronics...

anyways: i've had it for 2 days now, and have put about 10Gig of music on there. Now this morning i connect it to my 12" powerbook and it says it's corrupted. It worked fine last night...

when i disconnect, all the music still seems to be there but when i play a song it shuts itself down after about 3 seconds and it restarts.

is this a hardware problem? I hope not because apple service in china still sucks.
will the problem be solved after I restore?

s.

The best way to find out is restore it. I'm guessing that will fix it.
