Hi!

Just need your help guys with a simple question.

The question is whether "no contract" with iphone means that it will work with any sim card?

The full story - i bought about 2 months ago an iphone for about $800 with 2.0 version from some dude who claimed getting it from his mate in USA as a gift which became extra phone...
Okay, at that time i heard of some proxy cards, one of which came with phone, but didnt realize that it will be so tought. Problems started when software was upgraded to 2.2 and my proxy sim became useless...
I thought - wtf is going on since phone was bought for $700 (seller showed me some copy of invoice)., why should i mess with damn proxy cards etc?
After quering with seller, it was discovered that phone was bought at ebay, with NO CONTRACT...
I wrote an email to ebay seller asking him to help with this feature - no answer since 03.12... Even called iphone support who put me on hold for 42 mins after getting phone S\N, ending with nothing because i got tired of listening to music...
Is it possible to fully unlock my iphone remotely?

Thanks

AFAIK, you're given a number which you've to put on your iTunes to unlock your iPhone..haven't done it myself so don't quote me on this..
