I have an iPod 5G (Video) and just purchased the iLuv imm173. I want to use the two together and see a lot of adapters such as for the iphone, iphone 3g, ipod nano 3g, ipod classic 80gb, and ipod classic 160GB but nothing for the iPod 5G.
Do I use it without an adapter or with one of the above adapters or do I need to get an adapter separately. I am using it with the iPod Classic 80GB now and it seems to fit well but I'm not sure if this is the best choice.

Use the adapter that came with your 5G iPod.

If you can't find that one, the classic 80GB one will work fine.

In fact, Apple themselves states on the Store page that the adapter will work with the iPod with video 30GB and the iPod classic 80GB:

Classic 80GB = 5G/5.5G 30GB
Classic 120GB/160GB = 5G/5.5G 60GB/80GB
