I had a .Mac account before the MobileMe conversion. Although I'm all for retaining one's .Mac email address, I prefer the MobileMe email address and have thus told everyone to email me at that one.

Nonetheless, when I email from my iPhone, the emails all come from my .Mac address. I can't change it. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

In the email settings on the iPhone, change the address from your mac.com to me.com and see if that helps. If not, since MobileMe is IMAP based, just delete the account and recreate it.

Yeah, I had tried both these steps.

I can't change the address on the iPhone (it won't let my change anything after the "@" in the address).

When I delete the account and recreate it, it automatically sets itself up as @mac.com.

Yup. But if I go from that>>>Account Info... the Address reads: myemail@mac.com, and I can't change it.
