The Lowest Volume on my iPod Touch is not low enough before it goes off.

I like to listen to my music at low volumes, and this iPod Touch won't let me. Instead, when I want to lower the volume to a fairly low level, it goes down a bit
then it just goes off.. :-(
Do any others out there like to listen at low levels, and find their iPods just won't go into a low volume level suitable for them?
Thanks!

Perhaps you can lower the volume of your tracks in iTunes?

I have the same problem too, when I listen at night I want the volume lower and the screen brightness lower than seems to be possible.

You don't turn the display off when you're listening to tracks?

I don't think there is an option in iTunes, to 'lower' the volume
of a particurar song (or all of them) so that it will play lower on the iPod Touch..
Please let me know if there is. Thanks!
Also, On my TV for example, I can lower the volume lower and lower, and the sound will
very gradually get so low I can barely hear it, and then it will be inaudible.
On a cheap TV I own, the volume will go dow, and down, then all of a sudden, the
volume will be gone.. with no low end volume at all..
I think Apple Cheaped out on their volume controlling electronics. For such a pricey item too..

Go into 'Get Info' for track or a group of selected tracks. Select the 'Options' tab. There you will find a slider for 'Volume Adjustment'. I don't know if this will meet your need, but it's worth a try.
