Hey guys and girls, this is my first post, I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything so here goes:

My girlfriend's pc is laptop connected to a sound system in the living room, and I have my old powerbook on life support, with a dead battery, track pad, etc. rigged up in an office far away from the action. The thing is that all of my music is on my old powerbook. Anyway, I can stream my music from the mac to the pc in itunes and can control both libraries separately on my iphone, however since the pc is the only one connected to the speakers, can I connect to the pc and be able to see the shared mac library as well to play through the speakers?

Visually:

iPhone -> PC -> Speakers
. . . . . . . . ..|
. . . . . . . ..Mac

So, anyone know of a way to do this???

Thanks!

Take a look at this thread. It's not a direct solution though.
