Okay, this is a tough one.

My iphone has been working normally but now has opted not to make any sounds.

So I don't hear any ringtones if someone calls me so I'm missing calls,

Under settings / sounds I have silent mode set to off,
I have under ring vibrate set to off,
I have Ringtone set to old phone and max volume.
It plays fine when I test it, but if I call it with another phone I never hear anything.
It does show the incoming call text and pickup or ignore buttons.
If I set new text phone to a new sound, I hear it once but never hear it when getting texts.

All options below are set to on.

Any ideas? Airplane mode is set to off, I'm connected to a WIFI here at the office but other than that
no other problems that I can see.

Dumb question:

What about the "mute" switch at the side of the phone, next to the volume buttons?

Spheric you are a genius - the case I have this in pressed the button into the mute position.

I can't believe I didn't notice it but the way the case flexes (it's made of leather) if you do it right can mute the phone.

Thanks!
