Is it just me or is anyone else wondering about the "phone" function on the iPhone. It seems to me that everything is gearing up for the next big thing ie more Apps--I think Apps are well and good however I am now on my third iPhone after the other two were replaced at my local Apple store. Both had crashed dropping calls--blank screens--freezing screens etc--I told the Genius that my iPhone was great at everything --except being a phone--funny thing was--he said he had heard that lots of times. So what about it Apple--any chance of sorting out the "phone" bit.

Seconded. After 9 months of heavy use I'd say the iPhone 3G is easily the best cell phone I've ever had.
