Hi I have a iphone 3g
My question is that if you want to download an free application , you current can only do it though iTunes which require you to have an account , to setup you must give credit card details which I don't have a credit card .
Is their any other way without otherwise Im up a creak without a paddle!?

Thanks for any help

Debit cards work as well.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

not unless you jailbreak your iPhone and go through Cydia/Installer.

Couldn't you buy a prepaid credit card, if nothing else?

Are you sure about the credit card thing? I haven't given Apple any credit card information that I can recall...

Question to the OP: How do you have an iPhone without a credit card? Isn't a credit card and credit check required by Apple/AT&T?

Because there is no difference between free apps and paid apps.

Same infrastructure, same DRM, just different price. Any developer can change the price of their app at any time.

You even get the same bill - over $0.00

I have a credit card, but I buy all my itunes apps with iTunes cards. I can just buy a $15 card or higher depending on what I want to buy.

You know the best thing? If people want to buy me birthday or Xmas presents, they give me iTunes cards. Free music or apps!!
