I can get the iPhone 3.0 beta, but I'm afraid of losing my texts - when I sync to my computer after the beta is installed, will it put all my sms texts back on from the backup?

How can you "get" the beta?

Did previous betas you have used save your sms messages?

if you are in the app developer program, you can get the beta. I'm just afraid of losing my texts...will iTunes put them back on after I sync once the installation is complete?

No, it does not delete any of your data, although I did have to reenter a wifi password for one wifi, but not the others
