Believe me, I love flick scrolling on my iPod Touch. But for long web pages it is a pain. Is there any way to do a grab and scroll or something? It's my one complaint!

I think all scrolling should be grabbable on the side, as it is in contact lists with the alphabet on the side.

Yeah, there definitely should be more scrolling options in iSafari.

Seconded Thirded.

What also regularly manages to piss me off is that while Safari is loading a web page scrolling can become choppy if not next to impossible. Do we really need to get dual-core iPhones till we can scroll while a page is loading? Of course a decent iPhone ad blocker would probably already help a lot...

I believe you are referring to the checker pattern that appears while scrolling too fast before a page is finished loading (or even sometimes after it is done loading). Yeah, that doesn't make sense.

Is the checkerboard bug still around in the 3 beta?
