I do audio playback with my 2G iPod touch on a Griffin RoadTrip in my car and on a Zeppelin Soundsystem at home. Both apparently use the AUX-out via the connector.

In both cases I have strange background noises. Hard to describe but it does not sound great. I think even the audio is slightly distorted. It is in particular annoying in the car via the RoadTrip (I do not use FM transmitting, but via cable, the noises do not seem to be there by FM transmitting).

Any ideas?

Thanks, Felix
