My iPhone runs on 3.0 beta, officially, from Apple. Is the build released now the same as the GM developer build released June 8th? Probably not...

Anyway, my iTunes reports that my iPhone is up2date - even though I didn't bother to upgrade to GM.

Does anybody know how to update my iPhone to the final 3.0 release?

Funny that iTunes does not want to upgrade my iPhone to the latest release even though the build number is higher...
