Hi All:

I purchased iPhone 3Gs today and for some reason not all of applications transfered over from my old 3G iphone.

Prior to connecting the 3Gs to iTunes, I backed up my old 3G phone, applications included. However, when I connected the 3Gs and followed the prompts to "restore" not all of my applications made the transfer. But a quick look at my purchase history in my account shows a complete list of all of my apps that I have downloaded since day one.

So I guess my question is, where did my apps go and how do I get them to transfer successfully over to the 3Gs?

Any assistance you guys could provide is much appreciated.

Thanks!

With the iPhone appearing in iTunes, select it and then click the Applications tab. Are you set up to sync your applications with the phone?

Perhaps the apps that are missing are not OS 3.0 ready as yet?

Thanks for the feedback everyone...I was able to get in touch with Apple tech support this afternoon and they helped me pinpoint the problem...turns out my applications did not sync properly the first go around so they had me hook up my old 3G phone again and manually do the sync...reconnected with the new 3Gs and all is well again with the world...or at least with my iPhone.
