Sorry, dude. I don't think you meant it that way, but this is how it's perceived when people post links to their own blogs in random new threads.

I agree with the sentiment, but: in this case it's not spam. He wrote a decent review. Worth the click for the short read.

The google ads are a real turn off when people post this type of blog spam.

They could have pasted the review here, sans Google ads or placed it on a clean, ad free page and linked it here perhaps. (then it would not be blog spam as such)
