OK, don't laugh, but I am completely new to this. I always just listen to my music in itunes of on my ipod, but we just bought a new home & there are speakers built in to the walls. I'd like to attach my ipod to them some way. The previous owner took whatever he used to connect to the speakers, so right now I just have bare speaker wires coming out of a cabinet. Any advice on what I would use to connect to this? I've checked out a lot of the ipod speaker systems, but none of them seem to have any kind of external jack to plug speaker wires into.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I do have an amplifier. Is that all I have to do is plug the speaker wires into the "output" connectors on the back & plug the ipod into the input via the RCA style input connector?
