It's almost looks like a joke but it's for real! Note how they are for MAC. WTF?



The image is wrong as well. The description is for a 1st gen but the pic is of the 3rd gen.

Just a note, if you think you could get the one in the image you are out of luck. That's the 3rd gen ipod. It only came in 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 GB hard drive. I still have a 40gb one myself.

Also, in the top description it says (prior version with original scroll wheel) but in the bottom description it says (with original touch wheel). It's the "Scroll Whee" for sure, not touch. The "iPod Scroll Wheel" came as 5 or 10 GB hard drive models.

So if you ordered one, you would get one of these:

and not the one pictured in the add.

We can all polish up our badly scratched 1G and 2G iPods to sell them back to Apple since they're obviously now in high demand.

I worked in an ad agency in London when these came out. I remember how excited everybody was to get the new G3s into the studio.
