Not sure what else to call the title.

Anyways, to make a long story short.

iTunes 8.2.1
iPod Touch 8GB

I screwed up my library and now on 1200+ songs, every artist is John Mellencamp and every album name is John Mellencamp. The song titles are still what they should be though.

My iPod hasn't been synched up and it still has the correct artists and album names.

How can I have my iPod fix my iTunes so I don't have to go into every single song and change the stuff i screwed up on?

Try updating your library's ID3 tags. I'm not entirely sure if this will work, but this article seems to suggest this also: MP3 ID3 Tags: What Are They?
