My iPod is a fairly new 120 Gig Classic model, I just got it about three weeks ago.

I started having trouble with it today when I was going to listen to a song. It paused and, Knowing how it stops if the headphones get unplugged, I did standard things . I plugged my headphones back in. My iPod, for some reason, Would not play the song and the playing button wasn't broken. The headphones were in and working (I could hear through them when using the buttons) But I couldn't get the song to play and it started skipping to other songs so I tried listening to different artists and it still wouldn't play them. So then I tried plugging it into my computer and I unplugged it but now the screen is frozen at the "OK to disconnect" Screen and I don't hear anything when I hit buttons and I can't even turn it off. What should I do?

Skim through this troubleshooting guide. If nothing helps, take it to the nearest Apple Store, and see about some waranty love.

Thanks, Step 2 fixed it. After I reset my iPod the alarm I previously set went off so perhaps the alarm had something to do with it.
