Last night I was getting out of my car and my ipod was hooked to my fm transmitter, as I was getting out it caught on my leg causing the wires to disconnect from where the ipod connects. I plugged it back in to see if it would work and did but it had static due to the wires showing on the transmitter. I tried to push the wires back in the transmitter while hooked to my ipod to clear the static. 30 seconds late my ipod went blank and would not turn back on. I have tried resetting it many times, but to no avail. I do not have a warranty any suggestions? Thanks

I'm not sure what you're saying.

What do you mean by "wires to disconnect from where the ipod connects" ?
Did you rip out the wires from the connector, the connector still stuck in the iPod ?

And then you tried to just "push the wires back in the transmitter" ?

Yeah, it sound like you killed your iPod.
