I've been debating whether or not to get an ipad. It's difficult to justify spending ~800 (including apps and accessories) when I already own an iphone that does just about everything the pad does and more (stocks, clock, etc.). For those who use their iphone/touch on a daily basis, was the ipad a good purchase for you? Does anyone have any regrets about making their purchase?

No regrets, I love my iPad.

Even more, my wife basically stole it and uses it all the time for books. I might need to get another one.

That we already own an iPhone and an iPod Touch doesn't change anything.

No regrets here as well.
In fact when I go back to my iphone it looks like a kiddy toy.
Ipad is certainly the future of mobile computing.
I can't wait to see where all this technology will lead us in the next few years.

None here. I use the iPad more as a replacement for my laptop, anyway. Although having the iPad has made me somewhat less interested in purchasing a new iPhone when they're released.

No regrets here. They fill different niches. As much as I like the iPad, it won't fit in my pocket.

If anything, I'm rethinking how I'm going to replace my PowerBook G4. I was going to get an Air, but now I'm leaning towards one of the Pros.

No regrets here either. Actually I'm using my iPhone much less these days, especially at home. I've never had a laptop so this is a new experience for me. Lovin it!
