How can I mount the AirDisks on my Airport network on my Ipad to access the files on the Airdisks?
Thanks for any advice offered

You cannot - YET.

There is no file management interface for iPad yet (no Finder/Explorer) that you could mount drives into.

I'm sure Apple is wracking their brains over a sensible way to implement it, but they will no doubt take their sweet time on getting it right, before they throw out some half-assed implementation that the world will have to live with for the next twenty years.

I agree that Apple should take their time before implementing an iPad Finder.

This is the 1st time I have used this OS. I am a little surprised as to how un-Apple it is.

It feels like an early PDA(Newton) OS.

Apple does not need to reinvent an OS as MacOs ,though too big for iPad, is near excellent.

We getting an update in Autumn?

iPad Safari gives the impression that it does not cache, is this correct?

Yes they do, and in fact, that is exactly what they ARE doing.

The Mac OS is completely inappropriate for touch-based computing.

I have not really thought about touch computing.

So far the touch just seems to replace the mouse in my limited experience.

Gesturing could give commands which mouse based computing does not easily implement.

Are there any examples of gesturing commands for the iPad?

If you need to share files with the iPad / iPhone, Dropbox FTW.
