I am very impressed. The look and feel reminds me of a fine piece of engineering such as one finds in upscale automobiles like a BMW. The weight is good and it's easy to use with one hand. I would not want to hold it for hours on end but I don't think in normal use that weight is going to be a problem.
It is fast and the UI responds instantly.
With the keyboard dock, the iPad will replace all the computer stuff I have on my coffee table right now; I normally just do email and surf the web in my living room so I'm fairly certain this thing could really simplify my daily computing needs. If I need to do some Photoshop or iMovie work, then I'll head to my home office and wake up one of my Macs.
