So I have an iphone 3g and i was having alot of problems with it and I went to the apple store, they game me a brand new phone because they didn't know why I was experiencing so many problems. Before I went to the apple store I backed up everything on my phone to itunes, when I got my new phone I plugged it into my Mac to get my apps and everything back, I synced it or whatever, and once it was done I noticed there was a little cube on my desktop that said backup, I thought since I got all my stuff back I'll put it in the trash. When I went to use my phone minutes later, it was still a brand new phone...there were no apps or contacts or anything put back on my phone.
I took that backup out of the trash put it back on the desktop and now I don't know how to put it on my phone again. I tried moving it to my Mobilesyc/Backup folder but that still doesn't allow it to show up in itunes.

Any help?

Thanks

I don't know what the "little cube" is, but when you plug in your phone, in iTunes you want to do a full restore (button is right there when you select the device from the list on the left). During the restore, iTunes will ask you which backup to use for the restore.

But when I try that my latest backup isn't there. There is only one and it's from 3months ago.
