can someone help me or at least put my mind at ease? I updated my iphone 3 to version 4.2.1 just a few hours ago, and though it said it was doing a backup and God knows it took an hour to do it, it seems to have wiped out all new information past April 2010! photos, contacts, text messages, and all apps are gone anyway i can retrieve that info?
When it prompted to restore from a previous backup, are you sure that you selected the most recent one? If not, subego is right - you should do another restore and make sure to select the most recent backup when prompted.
