So I have my iPhone set to require the passcode after 4 hours. And it worked as it should until a few weeks ago.

Now, it randomly requires my to enter my code at different intervals. Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes not.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

My iPhone is jailbroken, but that never caused issues before. I can't think of any apps I have that would cause this behavior. Any ideas appreciated.

Restore the iPhone using iTunes.

If it's jailbroken, all bets are off. Full stop.

I would much rather have to enter the passcode a few times a day than lose lose all my JB functionality. Thanks though.

Have you tried turning off passcode? Does it respect that setting (off)?

How about disabling, then re-enabling passcode? Could be that some setting got hosed.

How often does the passcode entry pop up?

It's really random. Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes only after 4 hours (like I have it set to).

This morning I turned off passcode completely and then turned it back on and I haven't had any issues today, so hopefully that fixed it.
