Purging old email addresses in iOS Mail?

Hi,

I had an old email account which is no longer active, so I deleted it. However, when I start writing emails in my current account, email addresses from the old account still appear in the dropdown. Is there a way to clear the Mail cache so these addresses no longer appear? They aren't in my contacts.

iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.5.
