Haha. But seriously, we should be able to turn bluetooth and wifi on and off with Siri.

It should certainly take less than five OS interactions to turn Bluetooth on and off. Even my 5yr old dumbphone allows me to set a shortcut to Bluetooth controls.

Siri should be able to interact with apps - opening them, turning services off, etc....

How about directions from two points other than your current location?
(Siri - how do I get from LAX to Spagos?)
or reading emails and texts....

I think this thing is still a beta, but I do have high hopes for future versions.

I imagine there will be APIs at some point for 3rd parties to leverage Siri in their apps.

Here's something cool Siri does do. You can tell it to type symbols like "°, ™, ½, ±".

You say "[whatever] sign", and BOOM!™.

Pi doesn't work.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with the iPhone. It's a royal pain to turn WiFi, BT, and Personal Hotspot on and off.

Anyone have a way to get the Siri/Wolfram results to show in a larger font? The cutesy line printer paper look is hard to read.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that the result is displayed as an image (and that is why it can't be read to you) so unfortunately I don't think changing the font size is an option.

This stuff is all new to me so I could be wrong though.

Agreed. I hate navigating three to five levels just to turn off bluetooth (to save battery).

However, I found a website with home screen icons (that are actually web pages) that allows one to get to the BT settings in one click.

IconSettings - iPhoneZA

It has shortcuts for just about everything, too.

It's pretty sad that demand for such functionality is high enough that people have found such kludgy workarounds, and yet Apple continues to ignore the need to get to some settings without deep navigation.
