I have an Apple TV 2nd Gen with an iPhone 4. The airplay button does not appear on my iPhone in pictures or music or anything. It's nowhee to be seen. The Remote App won't even pick up the Home Sharing from the Apple TV for the remote to work.

Has ANYBODY got any kind of help? Please?

Apple are just not helpful on the phone so helpfully someone can help me here.

I've had this problem for a few weeks. I'mm all up-to-date on oth firmwares. I've tried turning off firewall etc...

ANY HELP?

Are you sure you've got Home Sharing set up correctly? Can the Apple TV access content on your Mac?

Home Sharing has nothing to do with AirPlay.

The AirPlay button should show up as soon as an airplay-capable device is connected to the network.

Does the Remote app see the iTunes library on connected computers?

I use an Airport Express to extend my WiFi network and when it goes wonky (power outage, for example), I lose the ability to stream via Airplay until I restart it. Perhaps try restarting your router?
