4S: 16, 32, or 64 Gigs?

I'm wondering whether I should get the 16 or 32 gig. The more gigs the, ahem, merrier?
I'll be putting my music on there, and perhaps a few books and a few apps. Which storage capacity did you choose?

16 gigs, but I wish I had gone with 32.

I think it really depends on how many apps and how much media you typically will want to store. If you don't want too many apps loaded at one time and don't have a big media collection, 16 is very doable. My 3GS is a 16. But 32 feels much more comfortable to me; it's what I got for my mother even though she'll probably never fill half of it.

The iPhone 4S shoots 8 megapixel pictures and 1080p video. If you consider making some use of that, I would pick the 32 GB version.

If money's no object, go with 64.
But keep in mind you're going to be tempted by the next latest-and-greatest iPhone, so you should consider going with the 32 or even the 16--which will leave you with some money to buy out of your 2-year commitment and get the next version.
There's always going to be something greater around the corner (note: not necessarily "better".)

I'm running around with a 16GB iPhone 4, and it seems to work for me. I don't do a lot of video, and I don't have a lot of music on the phone (nor do I use that music often), but I have something like a zillion apps (many of which I do use relatively regularly), so I do pay attention to my capacity. When I upgrade (18 months or so from now) I'll probably go to 32GB.

I have the 16 GB iPhone 4 too, and it also is OK for me, but 32 GB would give me more breathing room for sure. If/when I get an iPhone 5, it will likely be 32 GB.
P.S. I just upgraded my USB flash drive from 16 GB to 32 GB. Again, 16 GB was OK, but 32 adds flexibility. Now I just use the 16 GB around the house, for sneakernetting videos from my computer to my Blu-ray player for playback.
64 is overkill for me, for both, but I'll probably go there for say my iPhone 7 and a new flash drive in 2014, esp. if flash memory speeds are significantly faster then.
