I upgraded to iTunes 7.(whatever) via software update. Post upgrade, I am experiencing problems with one podcast that I subscribe to. When I attempt to run the podcast on my iPod, the iPod reboots!
The file plays fine on the computer. I don't have problems with any other podcasts, music, video, or anything else I can think to try.
I'm guessing a problem with the podcast, but it seems funny that two consecutive days of this podcast are causing the same issue on my iPod.
If someone wouldn't mind, download the "Focus on the Family" podcast from the iTunes music store, and tell me if you can get it to play.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Just an update...I reset my iPod to factory settings, reloaded my entire library, and the problem seems to have gone away.
(Too bad my library is on my eMac....USB 1 port was REALLY SLOOOOWWW!)

Audio from certain sources are now causing iPods to crash and reboot after the 7 update.
In my case it's audio recorded from a particular online streaming radio station. When I transcode the file it works fine (at the sacrifice of sound quality).
Certain others are having the same problem especially those who listen to audiobooks and podcasts.

UPDATE:
It's the Gapless Playback Information on the files that crashes iPods
Either:
Stop iTunes from Determing Gapless Playback Information after transferring/updating files *Click fast!*
or
Select individual file crashing the iPod in iTunes
Get Info > Options > Start Time 0:01
Audio will start one second in and won't crash.

The podcast-reboot problem occurs for me also when I set my iPod's EQ to anything other than "off." Simply changing that one thing solved the problem.
