[FONT="Tahoma"]I'm A newbie to the Mac world...actually, I did play games on one about 25 years ago, but they've changed a bit! I have a 17" MacBook Pro with Bootcamp and Win XP SP2 loaded on it.

One of the things I would like to do is show the same thing on an external monitor as what is on the screen. I can't seem to get Windows to recognize that the external monitor is there. When I boot up on the Mac side, it sees the monitor as a side by side monitor in relation to the laptop screen.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You aren't a newbie. You are a troll AKA Rob AKA Cash that is ban evading.

Go look for help elsewhere.
