The way the trackpad works on XP is so bothersome, oversensitive, orientation is messed up, and doesn't have the refinement of OSx. Is there any way to remedy this so it will feel more natural? Thanks.
Go to Start|Control Panel and select (double click) on the Mouse applet. In Category view it's under "Printers and Other Hardware." There you should see adjustments for cursor speed, sensitivity, and almost anything else you might want to tweak.
Ya, i'm familar w/ those settings, but i was looking for something more along the options available from osX. I'll dig around, thx ( i volunteer at the ARC btw ) the San Francisco chapter.

That's Windows for ya.
You might be able to change the feel by enabling the "improve accuracy" option in Windows' mouse control panel.
