Okay, so I was attempting to install Windows XP. All was going well. I made a 20 GB partition for it, burned the drivers, and restarted the computer. Then this black screen comes up saying "INSERT BOOTABLE DEVICE" screen. So I then went to get my Windows XP disk, when I realized I couldn't find it. I didn't have much time to search around, so rather, I restarted my computer in OS X so I could still use it later. However, the FAQ is sort of vague, and I realized I didn't know how to get that INSERT BOOTABLE DEVICE screen to come back up. I still have the 20 GB partition up, but I just don't know how to install. Reading the FAQ, I thought performing a Zero Out Security erase had something to do with it, but apparently not. Because the partition was probably already empty or something, I am assuming there was no harm done. In the off chance that there was harm done, Boot Camp Assistant will also no longer load. Instead, I get this error message:

So, obviously, I can not use Boot Camp Assistant to do anything. How can I get the "INSERT BOOTABLE DEVICE" screen back up? I have tried restarting while holding option; Macintosh HD is the only selectable drive. I have looked through Apple Discussions, and have this posted up there too, but I don't know which one will get answered first, but I do need help ASAP. Thanks.

Looks like something is wrong with the time stamps; I posted this at night, not in the morning.

Nevermind, vmarks solved the problem for me. All I had to do was reboot the system using the XP CD, and now it's running great. Thanks again VM.
